This place was quiet / offline for a while. I was away for a personal reasons for over two weeks and didn’t wanted to leave the server on unattended.
Now I am back and I am in a really bad mood… You can say that I see in red… What got me into this state? Few headlines on the news…

I remember few of their earlier acquisitions…
And I thought to myself… This will NOT end well…

Microsoft buys Skype for $8.5bn in its biggest purchase and gamble yet
Oh well… Microsoft bought Skype but they said they will keep maintaining non-windows clients…
and soon after that…

aha… That went well…
On the other hand… I am asking myself “Would I use Skype if they were developed by Microsoft?“, “Would I turn my blind eye on the fact that Microsoft is US based / closed sourced giant that is known for sleeping in one bed with all the three letter agencies?“, and the answer is… No. My trust in Skype is as good as dead. This is the exact reason why as of now I will no longer use skype. If Dropbox had to bend over, if Facebook and Google had to bend over… Microsoft is bending over for quite a while now. This means that my conversations will be listened to all the time and I do not want to allow for this to happen. Why? My life is an open book but to my family and friends. Not to a bunch of a guys in a trench coats.
Yet again… Microsoft took something perfectly good and ruined it for us… This is why I hate You Redmond giant…
Goodbye Skype… It was a pleasure to know You…
